Well...shit...I tried deleting a couple posts out of the old order tracking thread and I apparently nuked the whole damn thread! :r :hb

NOTE: the order tracking system is for U.S. based orders only. I can only view orders placed with dealers in the U.S.
NOTE: I will only track ONE order per member. If you have orders in at multiple dealers, pick one...

It should basically be an even deal although I hate the suede steering wheel. I have it on my car currently and hate it. Wonder if there’s a way to swap out the wheel for the regular leather wheel and still keep the collector piece at the bottom?
Something a good interior shop could do? IDK, for me, if I have misgivings about something, it's better I don't go down that road. :) I don't like having regrets.

The piece that holds the collector stamp is just a trim piece so it should swap right over.

Would you guys pay 5k over MSRP for one of the first 250 cars for a CT4 BW or pay MSRP for a non 250 car? I have a scenario where a local dealer will sell me the same car I have built except bronze wheels instead of black wheels for 5k over and it’s a first 250 car. Do you think the first 250 will be worth more in the long run or nah?
I wouldn't let the "collector series" thing sway my decision at all. It's just an RPO code with a plaque in the door jamb, and a signature on the door sill. That's it. It's not worth 5k. However, if you want to pay more to have a car NOW, that's up to you.

Yeah, the collector series cars are shit and not special at all.....I cant believe I actually purchased one and got taken to the wood shed, boy don't I feel stupid!

All orders have been checked and updated accordingly.

Good to see so many cars rolling off the line. Some interesting CT5 observations watching the tracker and the registry. Approaching 900 built so far, 225 of them since the start of the year. Almost all the cars rolling off the line in Feb had no carbon fiber seats or exterior (definitely regretting electing CF1 at this point as my TPW went from 1/3 to 2/21 and I rolled back from 3400 to 3100). Most have the parking delete/retrofit credit, although a few seem to still be rolling off with the sensors - wonder if that's random or there is some logic to it. Blaze Orange is shaping up to be the least ordered (most exclusive!) color, and I love having rare colors, that that's happy news for me. Hoping that silver lining might be by the time mine gets built some more parking sensors will come in, but that's probably as likely as some other parts being taken off by the time that happens.

I hate suede/alcantara wheels too, they just get matted so badly over time. Unfortunately I selected it on my build back in August and now that it's been accepted for production I can't take it off. Oh well

All you have to do is clean them with some Sonax once in a while. I have had them on both V Wagons I have owned and my Evora and far prefer the Alcantara. Also, it is cheap enough to replace - I bought a spare wheel/shifter for the Vagon for about $300 a few years ago - haven't had to put them on yet as 60k miles in, the original one is still fine.

Actually, there was a question about this. @Rob did you ever figure out the whole RPO thing on the Collectors Series cars?

Really? What's the RPO code, because I'd love to know...

900 built.... in looking at the steering wheel plaque, they are only 3 digits, so perhaps they will cap at 999?

I honestly like the regular leather wheel better. The one I had on my Camaro was perforated which was extra nice w the square bottom. Wish caddy had those.

Between the 2 transmission types, they could get up to 1,998.

You're right. I forgot the reservation order RPO didn't REALLY indicate collector series. I am remembering your post about that now. So, just 1 plaque and the door sill signature? Anything else that differentiates them?
I believe that those 2 are it along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Initially, we believed that the serial # on the steering wheel as well as Spring Mountain were exclusive as well but, that proved not to be the case.

I now believe that the Collector Series cars are nothing, and I'm so let down by this.. Mine will be for sale soon to get in line for a V Escalade!
I'm really starting to like that Escalade V. Maybe I'll put in an order for one, at Sewell this time. I can wait for 6-12 months for that too. Very interested to find out more about it. Engine, HP, equipment and price.
