This is fun, my CT4 manual numbers follow. I'm at Spring Mountain next week(!) and will check whatever car I use.

Driving hours: 106.7-28.9= 77.8
Driving minutes: 4668
Total Revs: 976000
Average RPM: 2090.831

Despite a few "0" drives recently according to Smart Driver, that average doesn't look very exciting. Almost all mixed city/suburb driving.

2. 182x60=10,920
3. 2,638x10,000=26,380,000
4. 26,380,000/10,920=2,416.00 RPM

2. 128.1x60=7686

672x1E4 = 6.72E6 Total REVS
6.72E6/2922 = 2300 AVG RPM

47,800,000 / 24,138 = 1980.28006

I felt like this was missing a key piece of info so i used some data to do some more comparrison.

I'd say the 10-speed does its job at keeping a lower RMP. Comparing Average MPH to Average RPM allows you to see driving styles. Lower RPM, Higher MPH would indicate highway driving. Higher RPM, Lower MPH would indicate spirited driving?

YESSSSS...another data nerd is exactly what this thread needs.
Just checked my numbers.... (4BW M6) Average RPM = 2499, Average moving MPH = 43.2.

Just enter the numbers in the yellow section at the top and everything else computes out below. I didn't have time to make it look real pretty, but it probably isn't necessary anyway. For giggles I may take off my car cover at 583 miles and see how it turns out...

I don't think there's necessarily a correlation specific about more or less spirited driving relative to speed. I could do a bunch of that style and easily average over 40 mph based on the roads around me. More likely it's just driven by city versus highway driving. Compare the proportion of idle to total hours for the two A10 cars. Sticker Boy does a lot more idling than I do. Most of my miles are highway cruising.

P.S. I think 75 MPH is around 1600 RPM in 10th gear.
