You have to keep in mind you'd have to add those same options to the M3 for a little more than they cost on the M2 (probably). Will likely end up a little more than a $10k difference.. that being said, lightly used M3 vs new M2 for less than a 5k difference and I'm probably driving away in the M3.I was a bit set on getting one of these in about 1.5 years from now. That would put me just under 3 years of ownership on the CT4 and probably around 50-55k miles. After seeing the body, the weight and the fact that the price is probably going to be 70k with the options I want, I probably would just spend 10k more and get the M3. I want one more manual car after this one which would take me to 2026/2027 time frame.
Ideally the price on gently used 982 4.0 would come down to the mid/high 80s and I would get one of those instead.
We are in the same boat on the 982 though.
