Y’all are making me feel better and better about getting that extended warranty man. There was a hot second there that I felt like a simp getting taken advantage of.

Just rolling in and doing a diagnosis is a chunk of change at this point so extended warranty supported by the manufacturer that won't give you a ton of BS when you need to use it is probably well worth the price of admission.
