CT5-V Blackwing Extended Warranty Pricing

Keep in mind you can shop around for the warranty. That same coverage (7/100k) from the place where I got mine would be $2145.
Any chance you could share where you got it? Thanks!

Anyone purchased a recent extended warranty lately. My 2022 CT5-v (delivery June 22) Blackwing has 5600 miles and I am thinking about getting an extended factory warranty. What are they going for currently ? NY dealerships usually charge ridiculous prices/markups. If I buy from a dealership out of state, does my local dealership have to honor the deal if bought elsewhere ? Starting to do my homework before the spring arrives.

My quote from him is literally double that ...22 5BW with 13,000 miles though ..this is for platinum with zero deductible...is extended warranty worth it when the car already has a 6yr/70k powertrain warranty?
I also pondered this. Would be nice for a 10/100k. But I’m sure that will be $$

@MatthewAMEL ...that's about what he quoted me when I bought mine last year. Prices go up as time AND miles go by, every multiple of 12K miles the price goes up. Not to mention GM, and others, raise the prices at least once or twice a year, usually around April or October. If you're buying a GMPP, any dealer in the US will honor it (not sure about Canada).

What he said 👆. The sooner you buy one the cheaper it usually is. I tend to keep my cars for a long time. Especially my 1967 Caddy that my Dad gave me when I was 12 years old (back when Jimmy Carter was President). So far, 58 years old since bought new and over 204,000 miles.

Anyone purchase one recently? Looking for the best deal. I've got 42k miles on my MY23 5BW and am thinking about getting an extended warranty.

I am hunting for the best deal right now on my 2022. My car has only 6000 miles and 14 months still left on the factory warranty. My local service dealer quoted me a ridiculous price of $3800 for 7 yrs/56,000. I received a quote from knappservicevehiclescontracts.com for $2157 w/100$ded.
Prices can be all over for the same warranty. Its all about how much the dealer is looking to screw you over for their cut. I will be going to my selling dealer today to see what they offer. They won't tell me over the phone. That is how I know it will be an entertaining conversation.
I will report back.

James Black Cadillac is the online volume leader for GMPP plans. Pretty good prices in my experience. Get a price there and then see if your local dealer will match (depending on when your car was last serviced by a GM dealer you might need an inspection to qualify for GMPP.)

I had to resend my info to him. I think he read my email as if I had 60,000 miles and not 6,000 that I have. Waiting for a reply. I went to my selling dealer and he asked me what offers I had. That's like asking a poker player, what cards do you have. Knapp offered $2157 for 7 years /56,000 miles with 100$ deductible. My servicing dealer was much higher asking $3800 ! When I told (my selling dealer) that I get the "friends and family deal" because my family is friends with the owner, he knocked his offer down to what he said is his absolute lowest price of $2300 for the same deal. I may just pay the extra 200$ to keep everything local. They always ask, where did you buy the car and the extended warranty.....they do tend to treat you better if you say "here".

I will check them out also. Thanks.

Got my reply back from Todd Sutherland . It appears that he has the best offers and I will be calling him for the particulars. he also sent me the entire menu of options which was very convenient compared to the others.

This one beat out James Black? Good to see there's some actual competition out there for pricing.
