V-Series Cadillac(s)?
2025 CT5-V Blackwing
Hi all, I picked up my 2025 CT5 BW a couple weeks back from Casa de Cadillac in LA and am loving it so far (this is my 4th BW). I was looking to smoke the side markers and ended up going with a vinyl overlay kit that I used on my previous 2022 only to find out that the side markers are smaller now. Does anyone know if anyone has a solution for the 2025 model yet? Also, I wasn’t able to get CF packages due to constraints and was curious if the 2025 part numbers for the CF front splitter and rear spoiler were the same as the previous model. Does anyone happen to know?

Thanks in advance!

Pics please. I imagine the rear spoiler is the same as the car save for the front bumper is unchanged. Not sure if the front splitter is different.

Here are a couple post tint, PPF, and ceramic!

It looks like these guys made drop in replacements for 24's. Since the markers have changed, I imagine it's going to take a while for the aftermarket to catch up. Probably should keep an eye here.

Same here. Got my order accepted for my 2025 BW but with a constraint (no CF Pkgs). What in the heck is with this!? Is it a fitment issue? Supply chain issues? Supplier quality issue?????

It's supply chain. They don't have those parts available for your production window. You can choose to wait hoping they'll be available if/when your dealer gets another allocation, or drop those items from your order so it can be sent to production.

I had dealer put my order through w/o the CF Pkgs. The order has already been accepted (2000 status) and am awaiting tentative production schedule date.
Another question (since you've been so awesome in responding to my questions so promptly). I am going to have the CF Pkgs put on by my dealer (when they get the parts). Yes he told me they would cost slightly more. The question becomes if I'm having full expell PPF and ceramic coating done (knowing I'm changing out the rear spoiler, etc) do I have the PPF done with the stock parts or wait until the new CF pieces are available (not knowing when those pieces will be available). The risk is driving the car around w/o the PPF protection.

PPF now, but tell them they can skip the front splitter and rear spoiler if it saves you a full bucks. Skip the plastic side rails and rear diffuser too.

Get the ppf now... you may be waiting awhile.
So why doesn't Cadillac/GM have secondary suppliers for these CF pieces? Do you happen to know who their current CF supplier is. I don't believe it's it's Anderson Composites? How many model years has been CF issue been a problem. Very very frustrating.

The CF has been in rotating constraint since BWs were born. Everyone ordering one has had to deal with it. Generally it is a matter of supply. GM seems to like keeping the same suppliers for quality control and to keep all the parts looking the same.

And then there is the goat factor. 🐐

Someone who is connected inside GM shared with me recently that Cadillac has gone through like 5-6 different suppliers for the carbon fiber pieces in/outside the car since the BW was introduced. Most of them have gone bankrupt and new suppliers found - that is the reason for inconsistent supply.

It took me one year to get the splitter ordered through my local dealer (ordered in Dec 2022). My understanding was at that time they were switching suppliers. There was also a huge price bump (-30% IIRC) on the splitter after that. My dealer honored the lower price at the time of my order.

The spoiler and spitter are easy to install yourself. I wouldn’t trust my dealer to not F something up. @Lipton did they give you a cost estimate for the installation of each part?

I personally think the CF2 is a little much. But I have the CF backed seats and that with the CF1 seems like plenty of CF to me and a more subtle aesthetic.

So why not "ramp up" production/supply when they KNOW they have the demand? I come from a 38 year in product management/global importing and if I couldn't find a supplier to meet my needs I'd find one who could. Carbon fiber production (to the best of my knowledge) is rocket science or as we used to say like making tiles for the space shuttle. I'll have to order the CF Pkgs from the dealer (pay slightly more my dealer told me) and have them put them on.
