Would you sell a ‘24 Nissan GT-R T Spec in Millenium Jade for a fully loaded ‘25 5BW manual?

I know this is a BW forum, so there’ll be bias. Just want to hear some thoughts. Anyone have experience with both cars that can chime in? Don’t get me wrong, I love the GTR, it’s legendary final year model AWD rocket in a special trim and limited color. However, something about a supercharged RWD V8 manual with modern tech is compelling though. I don’t really need the extra seats or doors. I have an IS500 and FL5 as well.

The person who was on the waitlist for the GTR before me backed out and went for a 5BW instead, so I guess these are cross-shopped.

Tough question - from a financial standpoint there’s a pretty interesting comparison on expected value over the coming years. The Nissan will probably only go up in value (depending on transaction price) whereas the 5BW may take a while longer.

Tech wise I think the GT-R will feel pretty dated in comparison. Answer for me would depend on how much I was going to drive it and how long I planned to keep it.

Absolutely yes!! I will take a slower manual car any day over a faster car with a slushbox.

Yes.

As you said, it is an "AWD Rocket".

Before I bought my manual CT5-V Blackwing, I owned a loaded, 2022 M4 Competition xDrive. Also an AWD rocket. C&D ran it to 60 in 2.8 seconds if I recall. Not sure how that compares to the Nissan. The interior, in full Tartufo leather, was an absolute knockout. But man, was it ever devoid of character on the road. So sterile. I suspect the Nissan has to be better. But either way, you just cannot compare it to a RWD, supercharged V8 6MT car for driving "enjoyment". Mine is an extra car, solely purchased for my enjoyment. I definitely got the right one for me. I'm sure for other people's tastes, the Nissan or M4 might be "the one".

I simply wish you the best in getting yours, regardless of which machine it is. It is very cool to be content and not have a need to chase anything else!

I also had a brand new M3 last year before my blackwing. It was not that exciting to drive, and I've seen videos and read articles about people trading their GTR in because they were just like driving a computer that does everything for you, though they are very fast.

The GTR will get more attention, but the blackwing is probably more fun to drive.

My brother has a 24 T-spec and just added the Escalade V. I don't think he will ever get rid of the GTR.
