Different cars will have power dips in different places. Just depends when the ECM detects that target torque has been reached. At that point it starts to close the electronic throttle 'so it doesn't make too much power'. On cars we can tune (i.e. ATS-Vs), we obviously circumvent that throttle intervention.
Our CT4-V Blackwing has been on the dyno 15 or 16 times now, including the last three days in a row. This is not an easy task, but I can tell you that we have finally begun to 'crack the code' in terms of turning up the boost, and increasing horsepower and torque.
We will be back on the dyno starting this Friday, and continuing into next week. If all goes well, we'll bring the car to Cadillac Attack in Orlando at the end of this month. Please stay tuned...
Intake and exhaust are still stock. We will release all details in time, once the tuning is perfected and finalized. Right now it's still a work in progress.
