V-Series Cadillac(s)?
2023 CT4 V blackwing
So I finally got around to test driving a ct5 v blackwing. It’s been on my mind to upgrade since forever and with prices going down a little I am contemplating a used one at some point.

The car just feels like a 1.2x ct4 so that’s great handling wise etc. but my biggest disappointment was the exhaust note inside the car.

Did a few rips up and down a straight and the sound was fine? Albeit the volume was too low for my liking. It sounds spectacular outside but inside it’s all smooth. I dare say I think the ct4 has more noise inside the car though they’re mostly obnoxious pops and bangs.

I think I still want it but it’s a bit of a dampener.

Ps- opening the windows just had a lot of wind noise and buffeting.

I have come to appreciate the insulated interior…after all it is a Cadillac. But yeah I was surprised by that at first too but as you said it is quite loud on the outside and I do enjoy the engine noise when you get on it which isn’t drowned out by the exhaust, I am a little older so maybe my age is showing. I do plan to add kooks headers with green cats but that may not change too much on inside.

Assuming you weren't in Touring mode then it is just the sound insulation of the cabin.

It's the active noise cancellation but all you have to do to make it louder is to fold down the rear seats and enjoy :)

Please update us when you do! I'm on the fence and need someone to tip me right on over!

I felt the same when I bought mine. Putting down the rear seats helps immensely. I was very satisfied with this fix. The problem is if you ever need to haul people in the back the exhaust will now be quiet again!

Corsa has their exhaust available now as well so that may also solve the issue without dropping the rear seats.

Seema a bit unfortunate that in order to hear the V8 you have to make the car less practical.

You want more noise? Just get a set of Kooks headers. Unbelievable difference.
Just to be very clear. I want more noise(hopefully pleasant) inside the car. It’s plenty loud outside.

And the seat thing while valid beats the point of having a sedan.

I usually drive with my windows open like an inch. Lets that great sound in without all the buffetting.

Under all circumstances Cold Start to WOT the Corsa sounds pretty darn good! I will be slapping on Kooks also so it will be awhile before I get this crap slapped on. The other problem is I am slow, getting older and lazier by the second? Hopefully, it's early 2025 for this project! I will shout out when completed though and at least I am honest about by shortcomings....
