Yea, technically my dealership isn't selling at MSRP, because they force you into an "Essential Protection Package" for $1495. But that is for EVERY Cadillac at their dealer, it's not a BW thing to get more money. And to be fair, most of the items in that package are things I would be getting anyway. So I don't really consider that the same thing.

Usually involves some BS like a "ceramic coating" that's really like the $15 ceramic spray wax you can get at Walmart that they just throw on the paint and charge you $1000 for. You take that $1000 to a professional detailer and you would get full paint decontamination, 1 or 2 stage polishing, and actual ceramic coating.

Essentials Package: $1,495 - full tint (TX limit), door handle cup guard, door edge guard, screen protector on infotainment center

Yes, it's a cash grab...but it is what it is.

I got hit for $10K and after bitching, they gave me 10 yr 100K mile extended warranty on my BW5 and MSRP along with 10yr 100k Extended warranty on my BW4.
