Upcoming 11 hr drive in 5BW through cold and some rain. Thoughts?

Drove mine home from Pennsylvania to Michigan and it was supposed to be ~45 and dry…..had lots of snow and sleet in the mountains and even into Ohio. We made it but there definitely was some white knuckle driving. Go easy on the throttle and you should be just fine.

Update I made it from Saukville Wisconsin to Birmingham AL without issue. Snow was plowed up everywhere in Wisconsin and it was 20 degrees when I picked it up but the roads were dry and clear.

I just ate up miles trying to get south where it started warming up only stopping for gas. Made it from Saukville (40 mins north of Milwaukee) to Elizabethtown KY and stopped for the night. Stayed around 35 degrees outside most of the way.

Woke up to 40 and raining. Car was fine didn’t get squirrelly once.

Averaged 24 mpg.

Made an 850 mile trip with no issues. Ran to the gym after I got home and caught a nail on my tire

It took 5 weeks to get my first tire nail. Left rear. The tire store lost my valve stem cap.

I don't know if I have any left. dipshits at the tire store can't figure out, put it back where you got it it. Makes no sense.

I even got an unmatched lugnut from a truck in the bay next to me. I noticed when I got home (made them order me OEM lugnuts -costly mistake for them).

Oem style on amazon. I bought them when my tire was plugged and they didn't put it back on.

Oem style caps are under $3 for 10 on ebay and aliexpress. Can't remember which I used when I bought them

Those may be exact copies, but the silver ones I got at the auto parts store weren't. I got a full set of new ones with the TPMS for my second wheel set so I swap over one of the OEM caps when I switch wheels/tires for the season. I recommend taking off all the caps and putting them in your pocket before any tire store visits. Oh, and they also gouged my black lug nuts too on that one wheel.
