Undercoating?

I'm selling a vehicle and making my Blackwing my all-season vehicle. I'm in Minnesota, so it will be exposed to salt and brine in the winters. Has anyone done any form of undercoating on their Blackwing, or have experience with whether if it's worth it or not? Thanks!

Reviews of rust inhibitors. I have used Fluid Film. For a permanent coating on a rust free surface I use 3M 3584 Rubberized Undercoating.

Look up Krown coatings on youtube. This is the best way to do it.

It needs to be applied by an authorized dealer but you should have no problem finding one that far north in Minnesota. The product was originally developed in Canada and I’ve seen demonstrations of it on pickup trucks known for rusting out that have 0 rust after 10 years.

I've used (& still use) fluid film but it's stinky. Woolwax is another similar product that I've heard is a little better (I have some but haven't used it yet).

I'm in MN and do Krown on my Tacoma. Great stuff, but the closest place is in La Crosse WI. Works out every year because I get down there a handful of times. For some reason there's none in the twin cities.
