It's interesting how they did the seats between the two models. Sky cool gray looks completely different on CT4.
The sky cool gray trim level you chose comes with the carbon fiber backing on the rear of the seats. Ct4v bw is only given the micro sueded backing with the quilted pattern. You can choose the same sky cool gray quilted pattern trim used in the ct4v bw for the ct5v bw cost 4k less and it comes with the micro sueded backing. It's interesting how they did the seats between the two models. Not concerned about the backs. Look at the seats themselves. CT4 have a lot more gray/white. Ct5 seats are black with gray/white inserts. The sky cool gray trim level you chose comes with the carbon fiber backing on the rear of the seats. U are correct gm did two different designs one design for the micro sueded backing seats which have alot of quilted gray pattern, second design for the carbon fiber backing seats with gray/white inserts only available on ct5v bw. I am guessing they wanted to distinguish styles. Not concerned about the backs. Look at the seats themselves. CT4 have a lot more gray/white. Ct5 seats are black with gray/white inserts.
Yes. The mid-range seats in the 5 are very similar to the top-option in the 4.There is another sky cool grey option for the CT5 that comes with more grey
Well, first time we put vent and massage and bottom cushion extension on performance seats thats a big change. But overall we learned from the previous seats and added more adjustability for wider range of body types.@Mirza Grebovic This configurator is probably the first time we’ve all gotten a good view of the new high-performance seats. Those bolsters look like they’ll really hold us in place. How do you think these new seats compare to the V3 Recaros, comfort-wise? I understand you wouldn’t say they’re worse but are they about the same or better? In your opinion, of course!
thanks in advance!
You mean for fat/big/weight challenged guys like me?HahahahahahaWell, first time we put vent and massage and bottom cushion extension on performance seats thats a big change. But overall we learned from the previous seats and added more adjustability for wider range of body types.
If the seats are any thing like the honda civic type-r I will be ecstaticWell, first time we put vent and massage and bottom cushion extension on performance seats thats a big change. But overall we learned from the previous seats and added more adjustability for wider range of body types.
I know they are not the same seat, but the seats in my 2020 CT5-V now are nice, IMHO, and the leg extension is nothing short of bad ass!!!!If the seats are any thing like the honda civic type-r I will be ecstatic
Steve do you happen to know if they will limit the power and rpm until the vehicle passes the break in period.I know they are not the same seat, but the seats in my 2020 CT5-V now are nice, IMHO, and the leg extension is nothing short of bad ass!!!!
I did read in a thread on this forum that yes the RPM will be limited for the first 500 miles if I'm not mistaken....Steve do you happen to know if they will limit the power and rpm until the vehicle passes the break in period.
I have heard they did that with the corvette. Thank you I will keep that in mine.I did read in a thread on this forum that yes the RPM will be limited for the first 500 miles if I'm not mistaken....
Just wondering ur input on these wheels good badI did read in a thread on this forum that yes the RPM will be limited for the first 500 miles if I'm not mistaken....
You know, I've had bad luck with "custom wheels"so I stay with the OEM, but with that being said those are cool looking and would be so easy to clean....Just wondering ur input on these wheels good bad
