At 63K Miles, it was time to replace both front Magna Ride struts on the Blackwing. Clunk under sharp rebound when stiffened up and they were both leaking. Picked up a cheap $100 spring compressor which made the job easy.

If you don’t mind, how much is a new strut?
List price per strut is between $650 and $700, they can be found for about half that if you look around. Good to replace the strut upper mount and spring rubbers while your at it. Quote from the dealership was $2650, cost me about $800 to do it myself and I know everything is torqued correctly, cleaned up and not banged around. Need to take it for an alignment now, I just set the upper knuckle bolt for camber adjustment to the middle, so I know my camber will be off.

$100? Deets on the spring compressor?
Even from the freight, they were usually twice that.
Free shipping from Texas, I had a coupon code and got a few $ off;

I have the OEM ones compressors, they're great for what they are, but this is awesome.

I still think the prices for what they are is simply the best suspension money can buy? Maybe I am wrong?

$700 is still about 1/3 of what a PASM shock costs. That's not bad.
