Anyone in the NY/CT/MA/RI areas want to meet up for some Blackwing track days?

There are a number of different organizations that rent tracks for a day for their members, such as Porsche clubs, BMW clubs, Hooked On Driving, SCCA time trials, etc. Some tracks have their own Open Lapping days for the general public. Around $500 track fee for the day with an instructor, $450 without.

After doing the Cadillac Academy at Spring Mountain, I drove Lime Rock and Watkins Glen with Hooked On Driving and two days at Palmer on Open Lapping days.

July 15th and Aug 19th are Open Lapping days at Palmer.
July 26th & Sept 9th are days at Lime Rock with the BMW CCA.

Anybody interested in playing on a track? It would be great to have 15 - 20 Blackwings at an event!

How far are you from Lime Rock and Palmer?

There's also an event at Watkins Glen July 4th-6th with Hooked On Driving. That will be a huge event. Camping, bands, fireworks, the whole works.

Looks like I'm about 5 hours from those tracks. Of course the event at Watkins would be our anniversary weekend, probably not the best time to take off to do car stuff
