Its 70 degrees today, so lets install snow tires! Well, its 40 degrees in 48hrs so I figured do some work while its nice.
Very happy with the result. The rears really dont poke out as you can see. The lower sidewall vs the 275/35 in the rear makes the gap a bit bigger which is kind of meh-but again, this is winter.
However, I like this setup SO much, I think I might modify it to be my summer setup. I would replace the rears with 18 x 10.5 ET40s, sell the extra pair or keep as spares, have all 4 powdercoated gunmetal gray and swap on my summer tires. Run the stockers the next winter. I like that the Apex's are likely 20% or more lighter in unsprung weight. I will give them the winter test to see if they are strong and not bendy.
I also installed the rear Amazon mudflaps while I had the wheels off.
