Any idea if it came from VinView, or something like that? I'd like to be able to nudge them in the direction of being able to find it...

My car is on Norfolk S and getting changed out probably after St Louis lol, was picked up this morning early.I think the only train that runs from Michigan to St Louis (thanks google) is AMTRAK. It runs once per day ... I do not know if your car is on their train or someone like Norfolk S or something like that but AMTRAK shows:
As we look for ways to track our cars, I found this way to do it. Tried it and it worked.
As of 10:26am this morning ... on 8/12 at 9:59pm railcar left Nashville (CSX). I got the railcar number from the Cadillac advisor, then used the telephone directions from the Stingray Forum thread, posted here:

What is VinView?Any idea if it came from VinView, or something like that? I'd like to be able to nudge them in the direction of being able to find it...
It is an application that the dealer has access to that enables them to track a vehicle by gps after it has been built. What is VinView?
This isn't an esv forum and I think the links you quoted explained how to do it, but I thought I remember reading that due to people abusing the rail tracking system, they shut off access to it. I might be wrong, though.Hey, i ordered a esv and i got my vin number and cargo number. Where can i go to track it down.
Thank u!
Thanks - good to know!It is an application that the dealer has access to that enables them to track a vehicle by gps after it has been built.
