Help! Battery Disconnect, Pad replacement

I am trying to do my first brake pad replacement on my 5BW and have a question on the battery disconnect. I disconnected the negative lead from the battery and got a soft buzz that stops for a short period and then starts again. That continues to repeat and I am concerned that I am missing something. I reconnected the battery and things seems fine but I need to get moving with the pad replacement so if anyone has a comment, it would be greatly appreciated.

Never mind - It has something to do with having the FOB around. Taking it away eliminated the issue.
