From '22 Mustang Mach 1 into a '23 5BW!

Hello all, thanks for having me here. Recently traded my beautiful and pristine 2022 Mustang Mach 1 with the Handling Package (+ lots of goodies) for a 2023 CT5 Blackwing. Looking forward to learning more and more, making some modifications, and having many many miles of fun in the new ride. Went from one to the other as it's larger and more accommodating for our growing family, and it's simply a beautiful, well-engineered machine that I can still have incredible amounts of fun in.

My daily driver is a '22 F-150 Raptor with a tune and my wife has the ultimate sleeper, a plain white SUV made by Porsche with 670hp. She still has the quickest car in the house, at least up to any reasonable speed limit. At least the Blackwing would catch her at the end of the 1/4 mile!

Very nice...love the color and wheel combo. I know you're going to enjoy it. Looking forward to your impressions and comparo to the (gorgeous) mach 1.

Though I'm not an SUV fan I'm a big fan of the Maccan - though I assume your wife's car is the larger one. If the Maccan came in a manual transmission I would be very tempted.

As it is even the 4 BW is on the larger side for my tastes and the 5 to me is absolutely huge...though I fully understand the appeal and kudos to Caddy for the Blackwings and some nice performance cars over the last decade +. Shame this era is almost at an end...but at least we get to enjoy them.

Yes sir! Found it in mid-22 with 2,000 miles on it. Got it spiffed up and ready for any and all duties! Never leaving my possession is the plan!

For me, it's easily the single handedly best single vehicle choice.

I almost bought a 2020 a month ago, but decided to hold off for a '21+ due to the upgrades to the current generation.

I think I've watched every YouTube review video there is out there. LOL

This is my fourth Raptor, though my first G3. There's an incredibly active and knowledgeable forum dedicated to Raptors that I'm sure you can stumble upon. My username is the same there, too. Absolutely get the third generation over the second. 22 is the sweet spot before the 23s lost features.

Love that Mach 1! I've never seen a red one in person until two days ago, and that is a stunning car. My buddy here has the fighter jet gray one and I would have bought one if I didn't need a car seat in the back haha.

How is it going so far? How does the BW compare to the Mach1? I was considering getting a mach 1 and keeping my daily in lieu of getting a 5BW.

Man I’d love to have a Mach 1! I track my BW (blown motor now), and my GT350R. However with everyone complaining about noise next to racetracks I can no longer do the 350R. Been looking for a solid MACH 1 for the duty.
