I bet if you call them the prices will be over MSRP in most cases, if they're even willing to sell out of state.

Or they are unavailable because they were ordered for customers, but got automatically listed on the dealers website and need to be manually removed.

I believe that sites like Autotrader automatically fish the dealer's websites for inventory (I'm not sure if they have a deal with them or they do this on their own)

Yes Autotrader (in my job Cycletrader) automatically load cars on dealers site the moment it is invoiced to the dealer.

Was offered an incoming manual 4BW at MSRP from Findlay Cadillac in Henderson, NV (Las Vegas). Was sending the sales rep my phone number to place a deposit when someone else completed the deposit. I like to think that it was just oversight on an existing deposit, because what are the chances of this thing sitting on their website for the last month (at least) and two people trying to drop a deposit at the same time?!

They did initially mention that custom orders are a year out.

I inquired via their website using the "Ask Us A Question" link within one of the Blackwing listings, so it was all done through email. The internet sales rep was Justin Taylor. Not sure on their policy for new orders as I was inquiring about an "In Transit" BW. I haven't continued shopping since this fell through.

Thanks for this. I remembered I'm going to try to get one in-state due to how good our lemon law is here in CA. It definitely would've kicked in on my Shelby if I bought it in CA.

Just for laughs, Fremont Cadillac (www.fremontcadillac.com) tried to sell me an order allocation for the low price of $25,000. They said, this is what all dealers will charge for a 4BW allocation. I laughed and hung up on him.
