Hi all,

A few weeks ago I finished performance modding the 2023 CT5-V BW manual 6 speed to my liking (for now). Wanted to share my mod list and power #'s for others looking to go down this route.

Note: we are on a conservative tune and pulley setup; I didn't want to go more aggressive as I did not upgrade the bottom end when I started this journey. The car is running great, zero issues, as a daily. I'm considering an LTR long block so we can really spice it up as the next step (eventually).

Fuel: E85
Max WHP - 1010 @ 6,820 RPM
Max TQ - 873 @ 4,990 RPM

Shop: Omni Motorsports in Anaheim, CA

Wow! Congratulations! How many psi is that running?

Will trans, clutch, driveshaft, diff and axles be ok with that torque?

So far so good, likely only because the Michelin P4s still spin at 80 an hour, so there's less stress on everything.

It's impressive what these cars can handle! Sick build and thanks for sharing.

Very cool. Congratulations !! Was it half the cost of the new car ?

Post 1/4 mile times when you can. :)

Back in the day (remember I'm old) there used to be a saying that went something like this - "whats the difference between a 1200hp Supra and a 700 hp Supra? Answer - .1 sec in the 1/4 mile" Issue of course was always traction...

How do you keep a 6M from losing its tail very quickly with that much power? Pro/Street Mickeys?

Trac control was not designed on these for that kind of punch?.... Any 1/4 or 1/8 times posted since the upgrades?

Enjoy, be safe I bet it's a hell of a ride!

Edit: And a daily driver! WOW!

Its possible to put down insane power, but takes a lot of chassis engineering too. I'm always blown away by what can be accomplished with the right expertise and trainloads of cash. :)

The winner of this even runs 6s at over 200 mph...............and drives it 1,000 miles to all the tracks. Unbelievable.........

6M, puting that kind of pop down full throttle. Need a PDR/dash cam to see that ride!
