CT5 BW Eibach spring

Luckily I live in Florida so there are not that many potholes. I'm gonna weigh the stock wheel and tire combo and post pics. The wheels are from Patrick at Litespeed Racing and they are a magnesium aluminum alloy. They are built to order and are close to stock just half an inch wider.

I just finished installing the wheels. I didn't have a chance to weight them as I could not find the large scale that I had bought for just this reason on one of my other cars. Anyway, the definitely feel lighter picking them up side by side. The wheels are a half inch wider but the tires are sport cup 2s in the oe sizes. Overall I think the swift springs offer more of a drop. The ride after 2 days of driving feels exactly the same. I'm hoping that the reduced unsprung weight combines with the more aggressive tires and stretched sidewall will give better overall steering feel.

Very cool! Congratulations of the wheels! So you are running a 10.5" front wheel? Curious if you think there is enough clearance with the suspension and fender to run a 305/30/19 up front.

The wheels are half inch wider than stock but the tires are oe sizes. Front tires are 275. In hindsight I should have maybe gone 315 on the rears because they look more stretched than the fronts.

Yes my dream would be to run 305/30/19 front and 315/30/19 rear. I need to get underneath my car and take some measurements of the clearances.

Yes, looking stretched

Currently running 285s on front & 325s on rear... does anyone know if the front tires will rub w/lowering springs equipped?
