Wow, didn't know there were holes under the emblem. Just thought it was adhesive...

yeah I bought new ones knowing that I would lose patience halfway through the removal process and want to just yank it.

if you're doing the front, def buy a new badge, don't try and paint the existing. the clips can be broken with 1 finger sticking through the grille to pull it off.

pics of rear and front for anyone else that needs to know where the clips are.

A suitably sized Blackwing emblem could fit there.
