CT5-V Blackwing
I am purchasing a new 5V Blackwing from Pepe and I was hoping to get it paint corrected and some PPF done on the front before I pick it up and drive it home 6 hours. I was curious if anyone around there is familiar with any reputable shops that I could trust to do a good job on that?

Any opinions or help is appreciated.

Dinkman lives 20 minutes from there. He said was going to go check out my Black Diamond Tricoat CT5-V Blackwing before it was shipped, but he never made it.

Dink, can you help a brutha out?

I still have a few weeks before my shop appointment. They will need it around 5 days for everything I am doing (full PPF, ceramic, wheels, tint all windows). Maybe do a super cheap / temporary wrap on the front end to drive it home and work with a local shop you trust?

Detailers Domain in Norwood NJ is the best in the area. They'll usually need the car for a few days though.

When I purchased my AMG in PA I used a local outfit suggested by my salesman that did an amazing job for me, e.g. tint/PP/Cermaic coat. Since the shop was 40-50 minutes away from the dealer the dealer agreed to flatbed the car for me for $150.

Have you inquired with Pepe regarding this possibility?

Good luck

I asked for their recommendations, so far they're just trying to offer whatever ceramic coatings they do at their dealership, they always want to sell those kinds of extras.

my guy is 20 mins in the wrong direction from white plains so you'd be driving it 40 miles to get there. i have heard good things of detailers domain @ukcats12 mentioned. thats about 20 miles from pepe and at least you're heading back home in the right direction lol
and you get to cross the tappan zee, not gw so thats a bonus. i dont have any other local suggestions sorry

I’ll pick it up for you and drive it to the detailer. I won’t steal it I promise. But if your car turns into a ‘24 with 8,000 miles on it don’t blame me, blame the detailer.

That was actually the thing I worried about most, trusting someone from the dealership to drive a brand new car over and not rev it out or something.

you should absolutely not do that
i'd offer to do it but honestly even i dont feel comfortable driving someone's brand new $130,000 car. what if some idiot on the phone rear ends me. what if i cant hold a fart in and it seeps into your perforated tan seats and the stench doesnt come out... too much could go wrong

Although I would like to be the first one to fart on that leather, it would probably be more of a don't ask don't tell situation.

More like ...."don't ask, don't smell" situation. I know someone in the area that can drive the car to a detailer for you. She will do it for some Taco Bell.

On a serious note if you really can't figure something out feel free to PM me here. I'm only about 20 miles from that detailer and the dealer is 20 miles further east.
