2025 Cadillac CTS-V Blackwing
Can anyone shed some light on when I should be expecting the car to be delivered? Bill at Delaware Cadillac is saying it will be delivered by the end of the first quarter. That’s all he knows. I picked one they had ordered already back in November and jumped on it. Paid the deposit yesterday. All that wasn’t matching the spec I wanted was the caliper color and rim color. Got everything I wanted, even the exterior color and don’t have to wait through the constraints / waiting 1-2 years for my car.

I know I’m probably annoying you guys with this, as a lot of you waited for months or even years for your cars, but I’m still antsy and would just like to know what the intermediate delivery and stuff means.

Can’t wait to hit up Katie’s and Dulles cars & coffee. Will def have to connect with the other nova 5BW guys so we can all park together haha. Starting to look like the damn bimmer section… just way sexier.

ADM or markup??
Adm was originally 15k, but I managed to talk em down to 5k. If the car takes forever in the goat rodeo, I’m gonna attempt to shave some more off or get an extended warranty included. I’m seeing that only the huge dealerships that sell lots of Vs are getting the good colors and options allocations and stuff so I found this one already built and just waiting to be shipped. IMO, 5k is a small price to pay to avoid waiting 1-2 years for my car or possibly not even being able to get it at all or having to spec it a way that I’ll regret. This one has everything I could ever want. It’s a rare car, especially in my area. All rare cares are marked up these days. It’s def much better than buying a Porsche or even an M comp or CS. I’ll probably only have to wait around 2-4 months total for the car as well

If you put in your order and then wait till the end of the model year the big stealers have tons on the lots and eventually smaller dealers will get allocations. I got exactly what I wanted for MSRP, I just had to wait longer.

Ya, I didn’t have a problem paying a slight premium to not wait. Yours hasn’t been built yet and you ordered it in September. This one’s order was put in by the dealership in November and it was built the first week of February. You probably will have waited nearly a year by the time you get yours. I just wasn’t willing to do that. 🤷‍♂️ My total wait will end up being 2-3 months max.

Yeah the waiting has been the worst part. I just feel that if I'm buying a new car it should be EXACTLY how I want it, not how some dealership wanted to option it. In the case of the 4BW, once you add the sunroof it becomes difficult to impossible to wear a helmet and drive due to the limited headroom of the car. Just about every 4BW you see on dealer lots has the sunroof which is great only if you never intend to take the car on the track. So I had to custom order one and am patiently waiting for it to work its way through the goat rodeo.

Which brings up your original question- you are at the end of the goat rodeo. It has been loaded and is making its way to your dealer. As long as it wasn't damaged in transit and the oil pan plug didn't fall out (make sure they do the TSB on that!), you should be putting in break-in miles very soon. All the things I've seen that delay folks happens at the factory before it gets loaded.

That's a really sharp spec you got! It'll be a ton of work to keep it looking good though- dark paint and light leather. Buy a subscription plan with your local detailer now. :chuckle

Thank god. Do you have any idea what the intermediate delivery is for to Roush? Is it sitting in a lot somewhere or is it actually in the shipping process just waiting for a full load or something? The anxiety is insane lol. I dunno how people wait 2 years. I asked my dealer to check vinview in an email but I don’t think he works weekends. All I had to sacrifice was rim and caliper color. I’ll probably get a set of bronze wheels for winter tires anyway. Or vice versa.

There used to be a single company that handled all the vehicle transport and you could go to their site to track the delivery. Now I don't know if there's any way other than GM's system. You can only hope Delaware Cadillac has a ton of vehicles on that truck and it makes a B-line for their lot. Otherwise it'll be making a lot of stops in-between. Sadly at this point I think the person with the best info for you is Bill at Delaware.
