V-Series Cadillac(s)?
CT5-V BlackWing
Hi all,

Im new to this forum and im getting my hands on a new manual 5BW.

Im also new to Ontario, Canada and i wonder how many owners are there.

There are few things that I would like to hear the community thoughts on.

1- Those who track their cars, do you have PPF for the entire front or just 1/4?
2- My dealer is recommending to install anti theft immoblizer, your thoughts?
3- i’ll be buying all weather floor mats, any recommendation?

Finally, any upgrades or tweaks you guys would love to share?

2. I would not let the dealer do any add-ons. Research and have an expert shop do any of that kind of work (if really desired).

3.The Caddy all weather mats are very good.

Thanks man, any idea from where I can get those? the dealer is asking for around $400 USD!

Not sure what year your BW or if they ship to Canada but I’ve had great luck with these folks and prices.

That's a good price. Cheaper than the Cadillac accessories store with their current discount.

Definitely get PPF if you plan to track. I’ve got 2200 miles on mine and one track day. Already have some decent chips in the ppf, but none appear to have made it through to the paint.

I went with full front end, a pillars, mirror caps, rockers from the bottom to the lower 3rd of the door body line and rear bumper impact area behind the wheels. Money well spent. Protect your investment.

Many thanks man!
Im getting a 2024, will probably use a shipping forwarder to avoid the ridiculous customs fees!

Thanks, got the same thinking and i’ve been checking some local businesses to get a fee of the prices. They all feel to me that they’re trying to upsell their products, although they all claim to use Xpel. Its hard to check on their reputation by using only google reviews, all have 4.5 stars and above! Seems a bit too good to be true.

How much did it cost u if i may ask plz

Ppf, black roof, full tint including windshield and ceramic coating of all paint, trim, wheels, calipers and glass was $4800.

I got full front, grill, vents, hood, fenders, mirrors with Xpel Ultimate Plus. Was about $2200 w/tax.
