2025 5BW updates

The article states the price increase is $4,500.

As the CT5BW eclipses the 100k mark it becomes a very hard sell for this market. Many of us are open to technology improvements however I would guess most enthusiasts would be more excited about performance oriented changes.

We will see how this one plays out but this could be another classic example of GM shooting themselves in the foot.
I don't see the blackwing bump and the base ct5 increase is 9k given they've removed a teir entirely. Either way, 5k on the base plus probably increases on each option start to make this a pretty expensive cadillac. Will push me towards a stripper configuration.

Makes me more glad I dropped the CF on constraint and got the '22 when I did.

Bueller??

does anybody know if the original front end could be put on a 2025+ car? Order the parts, unbolt the facelift and bolt on the original front end?

would everything underneath line up?

Thinking that might be best of both worlds - original exterior, new interior

Probably more complex than you would think - you would need new fenders, hood, bumper - basically the entire front clip as well as the electrical modifications to "fool" the BCU into thinking the advanced new lighting system is there when it is not. You'd also have to somehow reverse engineer the computer into being able to turn the lights on/off, high beam, etc.

I just picked up my new 2025 and I like the new nose way better than the original nose but I suppose that's personal preference. I could see why those who have white cars may not like it with those large black fake inserts on the front but it looks great when you have a color that nicely complements it.

didn't think about the lighting controls – good call

Nice to see the 5VBW get updated / modernized.
The '22-'24 5VBWs are going to lose half their value overnight! Can't wait to pick one up for less than a 4VBW!

but seriously folks - the front end of the 5VBW is a mess of shapes as it is. The '25 is a different mess of shapes. What looks better is purely subjective. I at least appreciate the modernization / updated interior tech. Definitely a step forward and well done in retaining the physical buttons and keeping the screens from completely taking over.
LOL...you think it's a mess of shapes? Try looking at the new 2025 BMW M5! Now that's a mess of shapes trainwreck!
