Next year as in 2022?
Actually we broke the news last night. 3 colors are being discontinued: Production and Constraint Updates for the 2021 Corvette As Of February 15, 2021 - Corvette Action CenterThere are reports that GM is discontinuing Sebring Orange on the C8 for next year. It'll be interesting if the orange on the BW is the same color.
It doesn't look like they are the same colorThere are reports that GM is discontinuing Sebring Orange on the C8 for next year. It'll be interesting if the orange on the BW is the same color.
Thanks. I was trying to find that paint matching site. I bet you're right on this being the replacement for Sebring Orange. It doesn't look like they are the same color
2021 C8 Sebring Orange code = WA418C (click here)
2022 Blackwing Blaze Orange Metallic = WA626G
A search on http://paintref.com/ doesn't come back with any matches on WA626G. So that's probably new for 2022 and maybe it will replace WA418C on the C8 for MY22.
On the other hand, C8 Rapid Blue and the Blackwing Electric Blue are both paint code WA632D.
Welcome! You have good taste in cars!Hi All,
New guy here. It has been about 30 years since I have owned a Cadillac (my first car) and after dabbling with a ton of other high-performance cars (Lotus Esprit, M3/M5/M6, GT350) I am in line to get one of these bad boys! (CT5V-BW). My dealer also said they could not select the dark emerald matte. I e-mailed the BW Concierge and asked if this color is going to be available at some point for the 1st 250.
Also, it seems like the dealers were given a 3 page ordering guide for the 1st 250 that was posted in the other thread along with the 34 page full guide that also was posted in another thread. I am assuming the right one at this moment is the 3 page considering the SSJ 20's and other things do not seem to be able to be ordered right now. However, both guides show the dark emerald matte as being an option. Unfortunately the fine print says "Late and Limited Availability". Hoping that changes along the way, because of course that is the color I want.
Will let everyone know what I find out.
Thanks!
MC

Each to his/her own….. just to own one…….Please, no offense to whomever chose that color for a 5 however, to me, that's somehow a bit much on a 5 where it seems to work on the 4.
I think these are the most authentic pics so far…. Look at that stance, big ass fat tire in the back… Front and back… no crazy wheel well gap!!!! The front fender flare is perfectSome sightings …..View attachment 3539
