I have an appointment to get fitted

Raised mine on a 5000SLX. Was not needed to go sideways.

Yeah, that doesn't sound great. :| Hoping it's nothing serious.

Unofficial Performance Supplement for Blackwing 4 & 5

That's interesting. I thought my 4BW outbraked my previous 718 Cayman S immensely. I have driven a M2 comp before and did agree those brakes were pretty gnarly (but never did push them as hard as my BW brakes). Also, SRF FTW.

    Suspension mod/replacement

This. As good as a lowered car looks, I can only imagine I potentially (negatively) affected the handling of previous cars. In situations like this where factory hardware doesn't allow for certain alignments, I agree those are necessary.

    4BW died at 1500 miles

This doesn't seem at all unreasonable considering the situation. I'd be pretty unhappy. If the dealer doesn't sound willing, I'd get GM Customer Service involved.

CT5-V Squeaking noise when pulling away from a stop or throttle at low RPM

My kid asked me to put my windows down the other day as I was driving and I heard this for the first time LOL. Not thinking much of it.

CT4-V BLACKWING exhaust suite from AWE sign up

Downpipes. /thread p.s. AWE does put out a nice product but IMO, is horribly expensive considering you're unlikely to see any significant improvements performance wise from just a cat-back on these cars, from what I understand. With that being said, more options on the market are always a plus.

    4BW died at 1500 miles

Couple days ago you claimed you didn't know shit about cars. Now you believe its the electrical harness. If you don't want the car because this experience has left a bad taste in your mouth, it's okay to just say that. Wish you best of luck trying to get it lemon'd.

    Suspension mod/replacement

For the first time in probably forever, I am not inclined to touch the suspension on my 4BW yet. It has been superb for daily driving, track time and mountain road driving up in NC/TN. I've installed aftermarket coilovers, adjustable control arms, etc etc. on previous cars and again, have no...

    Warranty Block on 4BW M6

Problem is taking a Porsche to Redline shows up in the DME reports and potential buyers freak out when they see those show up in the reports, even if no overrevs show up.

    4BW died at 1500 miles

To be fair, most questions like this asked in public forums are a crapshoot anyway. None of us have the car and/or diagnostic tools in front of us. TLDR: Take it to a shop.

    Warranty Block on 4BW M6

lol DME reports. "Hey guys does this report look okay to you?" FFS, these cars are meant to be driven and taken to redline, often.

    I hate carfax

Carfax's are generally inaccurate and/or in most cases don't really tell the full story. Many cars that have been involved in accidents won't even show that on a carfax. Decent guide for most people but a proper PPI is always best.

    4BW died at 1500 miles

Sounds like a possible spark plug/coilpack issue? My 718 Cayman had similar symptoms when they needed to be replaced. Odd for it to be happening on a new vehicle but things happen I suppose. Also, when cars have issues related to performance/starting - always one of three causes...

    No lift shift question

lol oops. did it repeatedly on east bowl from 3 to 4 on the long sweeping right. front straight as also an opportunity to do so.

    No lift shift question

Trans up to temp? Throttle full down to the floor, up near redline, clutch in, shift. You have to be very intentional when you do it. Admittedly I've only ever NLS'd into 2nd about once or twice during my ownership. Plenty of times into 3rd and 4th though.

    CT4-V FLOOR JACK LIFT GUIDE - 4BW

\ Front easy enough. Quickjack supplied Rubber block between contact patch and pinch weld. Make sure rubber block isn't interfering with rocker panel. Admittedly, the red pinch weld adapter in the guide seems like it would be best - on top of a rubber block, for extra clearance from the rocker...
