Can anyone confirm that we need Caddy specific tpms stems for this car? I have a set of rims and winter tires from my M2 that I want to use. I got the right centering hubs but it now seems I’m going to have to get a set tpms and have them fitted by my tire shop.
Like most car related finish issues, regular washing is the key. My 2017 M2 with Expel looked perfect after 63K and daily driving. But it was hand washed weekly (by me). After trying lots of car soap, my go to is Maguiars Deep Crystal. It rises off great and leaves zero residue.
I went with Ceramic Pro Kavaca - full front and hood. Had expel on M2. Ceramic Pro installer was more convenient And had a nicer shop than the Expel guy I used for my M2
The fact that there is a conversation this in-depth about something as basic as jacking a car up says GM did something wrong. My M2 had the easiest jacking points with pads attached and no spare tire. Audi S4 had nice clear jack points. The fact that the caddy owner's manual doesn’t give any...
Still not following. There is no adaptor. There isn’t even any guidance in the CT4 manual on how to jack the car up. The car comes with summer tires. I get a second set of rims and winter tires. I want to jack up and change myself like I’ve done for years. And I don’t want to damage anything.
Blackwing has no spare. And pinchweld is not very accessible. Need to check my own 2023 manual but the 2022 version I found online does not include any jacking instructions at all. Presumably because there is no spare.
Added pics of my struts above. I power washed before these pictures (low pressure) but still a lot of salt staining under there compared to showroom car. Should I be concerned about the rust already on the struts?
Does anyone know why this car was temporarily unavailable on the website? I attached a picture of that above. It had that headlights recall, which I had to sign off on at delivery. It was stuck in MI for a long time.
Dealer has recharged the system and added dye. They cannot identify any leaks. I'll take that as a good thing, but at the same time it makes me wonder why it was low/empty from the factory. We shall see . . . . I will keep you all updated. Fasteners being replaced today, but still waiting on...
Call Cadillac - don't use that website. After I called I got in 2 days. Service person said the address on my account was someplace in Illinois - huh. I have a feeling that website is bogus - I got suspicious when I got no confirmation via email

It rubs off but fastener is pitted. Here is pic of strut on BW on dealers showroom floor. Mine has a bit of rust on both struts right along the bottom painted edge. (Pics now attached.) Not the unpainted slotted cap. For comparison, here is a pic the muffler on my 2017 M2 which has 60k on it...
