It's something that only a few would catch but I totally get it..I can tell you where every flaw is on my paint. Metallic sucks to match perfectly sometimes and that is definitely a bit off with the flake. Worst case you could probably get the slots drilled in the original bumper and swap things...
What was the cost to get the new bumper painted? Any color match issues? (Probably had a better finish than GM OEM if I had to guess 😂) good writeups on the bumper swap. It seriously has be debating doing it in the future.
My hunch is that they did clean everything off really well, but may have reused the OEM push connectors at the edges and they may have been damaged and not allowing for proper retention. They also may have either bent the wing a bit when removing which is causing it to flex up in the front, or...
#41 was my favorite of the 3 cars I abused over 2 days. started out in one with a sunroof and once I put on a helmet I didn't fit (PSA for anyone 6ft or taller -try and grab a non sunroof car), they switched me to 41 after that which I used until the afternoon of the 2nd day where I got switched...
Had a great time with @Matt27 and @Megamike55. Echoing what everyone said, awesome instructors, awesome cars. And like I've said the past 2 days, I paid for the whole car, I intend to use the whole car. Even used the gravel that I didn't pay for!
This was avis. My fiance must have brutally murdered the pope while simultaneously drowning kittens in a past life. We always have bad luck when we travel together..... I should have left her at home 😂
Wow.... I don't think I've ever held so much hate towards anything as much as I just did against the Vegas airport and rental car clusterfuck. 2 1/2 hours from landing to finally getting in our rental Car. At the track now and already it looks like it's going to be a fantastic 2 days.
Arlo. He will never be allowed in my car and instead has to ride like a peasant in a Honda civic. He has two personas: high energy and causing a ruckus, or sleeps for 14hours straight, no in between
I did it myself with the remaining amount from the bottle I used on the car. This was gtechniq exo but my go to and what I will inevitably redo my car in this summer is cquartz uk 3.0 which is your normal wipe on/off application. learning the coating process on the wheels is great because if you...
Yep that last point is the problem lol. I enjoy doing it and lose money everytime I make a part but will continue to do stuff. I'd be willing to do it if you are ok to wait a few weeks on it.
Honestly though given that they are so low to the ground and bound to be scuffed a bit. Stek may be the...
I haven't seen stek cf in person but it looks pretty good and much better than what was out 10+ years ago. I've just been around enough carbon fiber that I wouldn't want to settle for vinyl personally. If I were to wrap mine it would probably be about 250 or so, honestly forget how big the...
how much are you looking to spend on it? I have my stock pieces still and could skin them in extra carbon I have lying around from the dash bezel and trim pieces. obviously it would be more expensive than the wrap but it would be more "real" than the vinyl
damn was legit at the home depot next to Soul's shop a few hours ago. should have been on the forum first and I would have tried to stop in lol. are they doing anything for CT4s?
