CT5-V Rear seat center seat belt

I bought my 2024 CT5-V Blackwing with red seatbelts, however, in typical GM cheapness, the center seatbelt in the rear seat is black.
Has anyone with the same situation removed the center rear seatbelt? If so, how difficult is it to remove?
If not, is it possible to tuck it behind the seat out of sight?

Yep. Unbuckle it with your key, fold the rear seat down and throw it in the trunk.

So bumping this. Just noticed a video of somebody with a 20th Anniversary 5BW and it had red center seatbelts. Time to start looking for the Part Number for that if you really want to swap it.

I have a 20th anniversary model and it doesn't have the red center. So it's definitely not stock. But good looking out, it means the part is available.

So I have spent more time than I care to admit on this as I have been working with GM/GMSPO on this since last year LOL. The main issue was the part had been marked as "Discontinued" with no stock available apparently since 2021 so we had to work through all of that issue first which took entirely too many people over about 5 months. Then the second part was to work with the supplier to finally build warehouse stock not just assembly parts and ship it to the warehouse.

That being said I can confirm FINALLY (as I have one sitting on my desk) that the red center belt is indeed finally in stock and available at Warehouse 76 (Lansing MI) under part number 84815208.

Installation appears to be removing two the two C Pillar upper garnishes and the rear package shelf cover and then R&R the belt.

Maybe some semantics here? There is the 20th Anniversary edition (hand built, extremely rare) and then all 2024's that have the 20th anniversary logo.

I went to fold my seats down, so I pressed my key into the middle seat belt release that makes it a 3-point harness. The thing popped out just fine but the belt will not retract all the way up to the trunk where the mechanism is.

What do I do to make the belt retract all the way? I had like a foot and a half of seatbelt just dangling there, all floppy. If you pull it out it retracts up to the same spot every time.

From the first day I got my MY23 5BW, I've had the center belt tucked away in the trunk & it does as yours -- sticks down approx 1.5 feet. It just dangles there behind the seat in the trunk. 32k miles later, no ill effects & I've never noticed it to make any noise.
