I have never met anyone else with a blackwing yet beyond some rare drive bys. With summer here and the roads looking nice do you folks want to do a meetup?
We can do Alice’s or open to any other suggestions.
So my wife got another high performance sedan(RS3) and now we have 2 cars which are very similar(4 doors, 4 seats etc) and I am allowed to get a less practical car if I can make it work financially. Carmax offered 55K for my 23 CT4 BW and lets say that's the budget for this endeavor- What would...
Because I'm a guy who loves to second guess my car choices and as someone who's always looking for his next forever car- what would you choose?
The Blackwing and the ZL1 are manual and the C8 well is auto(duh). Lets presume practicality is out of the picture and for purposes of this discussion...
I have been mulling this over in my head over the last month and the chirping in my head is getting stronger.
I have a 23 ct 4 bw manual and love it. We also have a 21 RDX which very rarely gets used apart from ski trips(rare) and ikea runs. Seems wasteful to have a car for that novelty...
I know we all love our cars and are going to hold on to them forever but we’re also compulsive car shoppers and some folks here must be coming up on 3 years with their cars. What’s next for you folks?
Personally for me the ct4 v blackwing is so good it has ruled out a lot of cars I thought I...

Better than anything I saw at spring mountain or elsewhere.
Wife upgraded her car from a 2018 GTI DSG to an 24 Audi RS3. I have been off this week so I have been driving around a lot and thought I would share some impressions and comparison.
The car as specced was 66,000 $ - we found a dealer who sells for MSRP and it was a smooth experience. Took 6...
So, I met a guy recently at a car meet who has a camaro SS 1LE and has the track alignment done on his car. And he's kept it like that- i.e. not just for the track but for permanent use.
I drove the car briefly and it seemed like turn in was better and more immediate than my ct4-v blackwing...
So my car has around 3k miles now and recently at random times mainly after downshift and cruising down without any throttle it emits a loud gunshot like bang from the exhaust. It sounds awesome! Wish I knew how to replicate it often.
Apologies if asked/answered previously- search did not turn anything up.
In V mode with engine turned all the way to track is the throttle response supposed to be more dull/progressive?
I typically drive around in my mode where there's no engine mode customization and that seems more...

tldr- both blackwings see a price increase. 1000 for ct4, 2500 for ct5.
Any recommendations for what the best mode for a bit of tail out fun would be? My previous car was a brz and it would slide its tail out with tc on. I have never managed to get the blackwing to slide apart from a first gear turn and dump the revs. Even then it didn’t seem smooth but rather like...

Wonder how far behind the blackwings are.
On a personal note- My first car was a 2010 camaro, I also owned a 2017 camaro SS and this makes me sad.
My previous blue baby attached.
