A scraping or moaning sound may be heard from the supercharger idler pulley on some 2017 Cadillac CTS-V, Corvette; and 2017 - 2018 Camaro models equipped with the supercharged 6.2L V8 engine (RPO LT4). The sound will be most noticeable when the engine is idling.
This condition has the following VIN breakpoints:
If the pulley sound is found, replace the idler pulley assembly. (Fig. 12)
