Condition

Some customers may comment on a moan type noise being heard during low speeds maneuvers.

Note: This noise is most likely to be heard during light brake pedal pressure and/or releasing the brake pedal.

Cause

This condition may be caused by the high performance track-capable brake lining generating high brake torque during a brake event.

Correction

If the noise concern on the vehicle matches the sound in the audio file shown above, replace the upper control arms. Refer to Upper Control Arm Replacement in SI.
