If Michelin makes them you could try them out and if you don't like them for any reason and it can be as simple as too loud or bouncy (it doesn't seem to say anything about fitment changes). I've actually done this same thing at discount tire on my MK6 to a 235 45 17 wouldn't clear the front and rubbed under max rebound. They took them back and I went with the stock 225 45 and went with 215 45 and was able to rotate the rear easier for autocross. I didn't wait longer than a week or so.
