Rear view mirror adjustment

I have a 2024 Blackwing. I can not adjust the rear view mirror so I can see the entire REAR WINDOW. I test drove a 2023 BW and this was not an issue. I'm 6'4" so I have the seat way back.

Has anyone else had this issue...is there a fix?

My dealer says No FIX.....use the rear view camera. The camera works ok but it takes a second or two for my eyes to adjust from distance to close up.

So you can see the entire rear mirror, or rear window? If window, I have a similar issue, I'm 6'3". I haven't found a solution w/o modifying the mount to tilt enough. Thankfully, I have the rear-view cam mirror which mitigates the issue, except at night when I have to turn it off due to other vehicles LED headlights turning my rear view into a strobe-light rave.

You could go a bit old-school and get something like Amazon/Mirror and adjust as needed with a wedge behind to get the angle. Obviously not as clean but for $8~ may be a decent solution.

You actually have dual adjustment on the mirror. If you look at the mirror, it sits on a shaft. That shaft isnt fixed and you can adjust that to get more angle. Both ends pretty much sit on a ball kinda deal.

Thank you. I have tried to adjust the mirror so I cam see out the entire window...the dealer has tried, but it will not adjust enough ...very strange

If my experience is typical, your eyes will adjust IF you commit 100% to the camera mirror. Between my 5BW and prior V3, I've got over 100k miles with the camera mirror and vastly prefer it to a regular glass mirror.

I bought my 2023 M6 5BW used. My biggest disappointment with car (real world problem for sure ) is it doesn’t have the rearview camera mirror. It has stage 1 & 2 CF, upgraded seats, PDR, Sunroof, red seat belts, upgraded wheels but no rearview camera mirror. I was surprised to find it wasn’t a standard feature on the 5BW. And it could be it was standard with the A10 only but not the M6. Anyway, I love the rearview camera mirror. I have on two cars and use it all the time with those cars. I kind of feel like I’m “slumming” it when I drive the BW. All that luxury and no rearview camera mirror. How awful!

You can retrofit the camera mirror if you want.
