I want to change the brake pads as the dust is crazy. When going to a pad that doesn't have the sensor, is there a light on the dash that comes on? If so, does it stay on?

Probably going to go with Power Stop Z23-405 and Z26-1053 as I believe these will fit correctly but no sensor.

Any help is appreciated.

The sensor is sacrificial meaning as soon as it scrapes the rotor, it is permanently tripped. If you have a healthy sensor and just zip tie it safely away you should have no problems. Just ensure you're routinely checking pad wear yourself since the 'idiot light' isn't going to save you anymore. ;)

Good to know. I usually check them fairly regular on all the other cars, so that isn't a big deal. Thanks for the info.
