Looking for brake pad recommendations for track driving

It's just about time to change out the brake pads on my CT4-V BW for some track driving. Does anyone have any recommendations on good performing track brake pads that are still decent on the road. (ideally better than stock) Also open to Tire recommendations as well.
 
Carbotech Pads Xp-12 in front and Xp10 in the rear work pretty good on a 4,500 pound taxi. You can drive them on the street without
any problem. They dust but it is grey and pretty easy to clean off your wheels. If you can afford to burn them up the Stock Tires are as
good or better than many 200 TW tires.
 
For what it's worth, I feel like the stock setup on these cars is phenomenal. Having run a combination of Pagid/Ferrodo/Etc pads on Porsches in the past and having to deal with excess sound, lack of cold bite, etc. I'm thoroughly impressed with the baseline setup on these cars and don't feel horribly motivated to mess with it yet.

I also thought they performed quite well during my weekend at Spring Mountain.

I ended up buying some ferodo 1.11 for the front. It'll likely be squeaky but that's fine for the track as long as they last and have a bit more stopping power. might pick up a pair of stock pads to run on the street.

Yeah the stock pads are great. I'll likely keep a set for the street but I'd like a bit more time on track and a bit more life on the brakes.

I wouldn't run them on the street though. Lots of dust and unnecessary rotor wear.
 
Stock pads are excellent. In fact, from one GM brake cal-engineer, he's said they've never seen anyone get to the 2nd level of the brake fade message organically. AKA, unless you have 600whp, hoosiers, and are an absolutely maniac you'll struggle to find a better option than stock.
 
I ran the SR11 compound from EBC for most of this past season and they were awesome. The stock pads are excellent if you are starting out in HPDE but once you get faster, you can eat through the compound very quickly. I ate through a set of stock pads in a single event at the beginning of this year. Plus whenever I would get below half thickness on the pads, I would develop a vibration under braking, which was really annoying. So I gave the SR11s a try based on the info in this thread: I’ve found the secret sauce (track pads)

So far it's probably consumed about 1-2 mm of pad since I put them on in July. They've got 2 track events on them, one of which I shared the car with my dad, so basically 3 total events. I left them on for street use and they have a very minor squeal when coming to a stop, but it's bearable. I'm sure they wear the rotors faster than stock when cold on the street, but I only drive a few miles to work and I don't drive the car in the winter, so it's minimal for me.

As for tires, I've only run the OEM tires. They are fantastic as long as you keep them in the 34-38 PSI range. Above that, they get greasy. If you haven't driven the car on track before, just run OEM tires. I put a new set on at the beginning of this year and the fronts started chunking on the last day of the last event, so they have a pretty good run life.
