2024 ct5v blackwing
Here’s my results 2024 ct5v blackwing 6speed manual installed kooks long tube headers and exhaust, cordes intake, nick Williams 103 mm throttle body, btr stage 2 cam, upper pulley, dod/afm delete, arp head studs valves and lifters, 91 pump gas tune considering going to e85 but currently the car keeps throwing check engine light for knock sensor so gotta get that figured out. Any body have any ideas on why they would keep throwing a code? Other than that love the car so far .

That’s a good gain. Was the first run (4/30/24) with the car totally stock?

You think that could cause the faulty knock sensor ? Explain please
I don't think that necessarily means faulty knock sensor, but maybe that it is detecting knock. If that's not the case, maybe they both got disconnected during install and not plugged back in, seems odd though.

I'm sure it's not your problem and I certainly hope not... but years ago I had a knock sensor code on my LT1 Corvette and it turned out to be a broken valve spring.

If the car is truly knocking, then the computer should retard timing to compensate. Perhaps the tune is not flexible enough for whatever kind of crappy gas you guys get in Kalifornia?

Didn't you know that Kalifornia is just trying to be green by diluting the gasoline?

I hope nothing is wrong but internally but I doubt it since the car was opend up to do install a new water pump it was making a ticking noise but it ended up being a faulty head gasket and had that replaced which fixed the ticking but it threw the knock sensor code before that and we didn’t see anything when we were in the motor and it’s still having that code come up after all of that so I think it’s a tuning issue or the shitty fuel.

So you ran it on the Dyno with all that done on 91 octane knowing the knock sensors weren't working? Ballsy.
