Greetings all,
I've been living with the Corsa cat-back exhaust since early October on my manual transmission CT4 BW and it's time for a review! I attended the Corsa tour arranged through our Columbus Cadillac V-Club chapter and with the help of Tapout Tuning. Corsa needed one more car for a pre-production test fit, so I volunteered to head up to Corsa early and came home with an exhaust. Thanks @MikeGuy993 and @WONT TAP ! Carl Lemmerman Jr., (Corsa Produce Manager) was an awesome host and it was inspiring to see the combination of high-tech engineering and old-school handcrafted quality. When you see the work involved, you understand the pricing. Fellow V-Club member @Dirkbg already posted some outstanding pictures which I'll link below.
Let me start with the main questions on the top of everyone's mind:
1. Does it sound like a VQ Nissan? H#ll no.
2. Does it sound like a Charger V6 with a broken exhaust? No!
3. Will it change my Blackwing driving experience? Yes! You actually hear the engine, and it shows how synthetic the sound is stock. It's transformative to the driving experience, providing a mix of race car V6 noise and some bass rumble. Unique sound goes toe-to-toe with V8 sounds. You'll start ripping downshifts just to hear and feel the noise. Every small change in throttle position causes a change in sound so part throttle daily driving is way more rewarding. It's gives back a bit of what we used to enjoy with NA-motor induction noise. And cold start is epic! Valves closed, it's slightly quieter than stock and a better cruiser for it. Valves open, it is loud outside on throttle, so unlike stock you may want to think about your impact on your neighbors. If you bought this car as an M3 or Camaro-in-a-tux competitor sports car, you'll love it. If you bought it as a fast Cadillac, M340 competitor daily driver you may find it too much. If you've heard a Corsa extreme Camaro SS exhaust, knock the volume back a perceived 20% and you are in the ballpark for this product.
I've attached two sound clips from inside my car, cell phone mic. I think they are directionally accurate about the sound quality, but they capture none of the intensity. The clips on Tapout Tuning's webpage, linked below, accurately capture the external difference in sound quality between Corsa and stock but not the difference in volume/intensity. You also start to hear turbo noises on the outside, not as much as with downpipes, but it's more than stock.
A few folks have commented on the external sound being worse with valves closed. This is not a real world driving situation. No one considering this product is full throttle in stealth/valves closed. In every other mode the valves open at heavy throttle. And not only is there no drone, as mentioned above the car is quieter when cruising.
As with any louder exhaust, it's a personal choice whether you like the lower rpm and part throttle noise. You can select tour/sport/race exhaust setting to match your personal preference for when the valves are open. I now drive around in the Sport exhaust setting so I can enjoy all the different sounds but still default to valves closed in 6th on the highway.
Looks are subjective, but the combo of the carbon diffuser and the carbon tips look amazing. Could be OEM.
Bit of context: car is stock, other than Girodisc front rotors. I do HPDE events where the car is wonderful but found the powertrain emotional experience when stock a little lacking.
I've worked with Tapout Tuning for a few small items, the customer service is amazing, so I fully endorse using them if you want to buy this product. We in the Columbus area are very fortunate to have this technical expertise in our local area.
I will do my best to answer any questions either in this thread or as a DM.

Our Cadillac V-Club chapter was given a tour of the Corsa facilities on Friday. It was very impressive, and Carl Lemmerman Jr., (Corsa Produce Manager) was a terrific and gracious host. I got many photos on the tour, but I'll try to post here the specific ones for the 4 and 5 Blackwings. Our chapter director had a system installed on his car (2022 4V-BW) so we got to see it on the lift, then hear it running. I have audio but I'm not sure I can upload them since the smallest file is 80 MB. Anyway, here are the photos. He got the carbon fiber tips to match his carbon fiber rear diffuser...
Corsa Tour Photos Continued...
Valves closed, it's almost silent. Valves open, it can get really rowdy. Either way the sound is good. Our director reports it is somewhat louder on the inside. Carl said that is expected and somewhat due to the active noise cancellation not being as effective with the different frequencies of the Corsa system versus the stock.

I posted pics in this thread: Who Wants the First Corsa CT4-V Blackwing Exhaust System?
I don't know about part numbers for the muffler. They build it all as a system. I think, but I'm not certain, the mufflers are the same 4 BW and 5 BW. If I recall, I think they said the only differences between 4 and 5 is the pipe routing and even the tube size is the same.
Attached is a recording valves closed, open, then closed.
