V-Series Cadillac(s)?
2023 CT5-V
Hello, i am a long time car fanatic with a desire to buy a CT4 V. I realize most want the BW however for my needs i *think* the V would be just fine.

Recently test drove a new CT5 and CT4 to try and figure out which car better suits me - the CT4 felt like a better size for me however the 2.0 wasn't enough motor for me. The CT5 was the Premium Luxury trim and had the 3.0 TT which felt great although its a bigger car. All things considered I'm thinking the CT4 V is probably the sweet spot for me. Desired colors would be Coastal Blue, Typhoon metallic, or perhaps Drift.

The car would be replacing my current DD which is a 2016 Buick Regal 2.0 Turbo - which seems to be in between both the CT5 and CT4 in size. Also have a 2015 Stingray Z51 and a 2004 C5 coupe (pictured in my avatar in Shark Gray and Magnetic Red).

Now i just have to find a V locally to drive and make up my mind - closest one i can find is in Dallas. :drink

Any input from current CT4 V owners or CT4 BW owners would be appreciated. Cheers:cool:

Thank you Sir for the recommendation. I would like to buy one locally in OKC if possible or perhaps order one (my Mother bought her XT4 here)

I don’t blame you for wanting a local dealer. I wanted a local dealer as well. I live about 40 miles south of Dallas and the local Cadillac dealer lost the Cadillac franchise, making Dallas the nearest dealership.

That Dallas traffic is something else but i think there is a Coastal Blue in the metroplex which is on my list.

Re Dallas Traffic. That’s one reason I moved to Waxahachie. When you get your Blackwing, the only suggestion I have is to apply acceleration power smoothly. If you “stomp down on it”, it will try to swap ends. Don’t ask how I know.

Well i found a 23 CT5-V with low miles (16k) that i couldn't resist so now its in my driveway :)

Car drives a good as it looks and sport mode / V mode this car is a real blast.

Great choice - you will love the 5BW
Almost same decision I made 3 months ago
I was looking for a 2016-2019 CTS-V but couldn’t find one with low miles that had not been wrecked
Was considering CT4 BW or CT5 V - I thought the 4 was a little small and wanted a little more HP than the 5V - wished the 4BW V6 was an option in the 5V
Have a C8 and a C5 and looking to replace a supercharged V8 Jag daily driver.
I had driven a 4BW and a 5V as well as CTS-V and had almost settled on a 5V - but glad I did not.
Attended local car show where the local Cadillac club had 4BW, 5V and CTS-V present - that resulted in decision to look for a low mileage 5BW
1 week later stumbled on a 22 5BW with 8k miles and CCBrakes with the options and color I wanted.
There were a line of people at the dealership behind me to buy it but I was the 1st one there with the $
I think it’s the best car I have ever owned
You will enjoy the 5BW !!!
