2022 CT4-V Blackwing
Howdy Y'all, just bought 4BW on Saturday and was looking to get some WeatherTech for the floors and trunk. WeatherTech doesn't make products specifically for 4BW, but they make them for CT4-V's. Does anyone know if the floor mats are interchangeable? Thanks in advanced.

I'd imagine they likely are. I don't see any reason why they would have needed to redesign the floor boards.

They are interchangeable. Also, Tuxmat will have an offering in late july or early august per their rep:

I'm holding out for Tuxmat, because it fully covers up the dead pedal and in winter, weathertechs still let salty slush drop behind the mat and pool up on the floor. But if you dont see much snow, then Weathertechs are awesome.

Are weathertech products as good as they used to be? I ask because their prices seem to be pretty good right now. They used to be stupid expensive, but really good quality. So I'm wondering if the quality has gone down to cut prices? I was looking at the cargo mat. Cadillac's is $125 and so is weathertech. I was surprised. Even their floor mats seem well priced. Thoughts?

The last ones I got about a year ago seemed a bit thinner but were fine. I have probably bought 5-6 sets over the years. What I do believe is that everyone else has raised their prices on these type mats to more closely match Weather Tech and they are very profitable! They spend a fortune on the kid's racing in IMSA.

The Cadillac mats are much thicker than the WeatherTech but the WeatherTech go up a bit more on the edges. Though they'll probably start folding away like they usually do after a year or so.

Even though they work well, I never liked the scratchy feel of weathertech (or similar) under my feet. I got the Cadillac all weather set with my CT4-BW and they worked well. They are made of thick rubber.

Did you ever get the TuxMats? Also is your CT4 BW a manual? If so I'd love to hear if the mats interfere with the clutch pedal

Yup, purchased the tuxmat.., worth the investment. I'm glad I got them to keep the carpet clean. I recommend it.

I have had weather tech in all of my cars. Never had a problem. If you have a curl, you just need to heat it up with a heat gun or hair dryer (heat gun is faster) and it will take the shape of the floor. Put a weight on it to hold it down as it cools. Knowledge is king.
*** I also have the GM Credit Card. I have so many points from buying GM cars that I got the CT5 rubber floor and trunk mats. They are top quality with a Cadillac logo.

Is your car an auto or a manual? Tuxmat told me "is not recommended to be used with Manual Transmission Vehicles because of the clearance issues with the clutch pedal. Some customers feel that this is not an issue, while other's feel uncomfortable with the range." and I would like to find someone who has a manual and tux mats. I might be wrong, but I thought 21-013 badge number means, 2022 model year 10speed and number 013 built.

I did. I have an auto. But they are the best car mats I've ever had thus far. A great combo of looking good, not feeling cheap, and tons of protection.

You are correct.
I do have an auto, but I have to say the tuxmat with the dead pedal covering, as well as the rear hump and floorboard cover is very nice.
I usually would have not spent money on fancy floor mats, but I have to say I have been impressed with their quality, and easy ability to clean up. I also like the imprint on the material, kind of like a faux weave fiber pattern..., at least to me.
I just went back and looked at their site, and didn't see any with clutches, so you might be correct.
But just the same...., I've been noticeably impressed so far after a year.

I have Tuxmat on my 2025 4BW MT. I'm happy w/ it. My only slight complaint is with the heel 'stickiness'. Probably more due to my driving style but I find that w/ certain shoes, I gotta lift my heel. I also have their trunk mat.

In all my other vehicles I run Weathertech but I didn't want it so rubbery in this car.

It is very good to hear from a manual owner that has them. I've seen tuxmats on friends vehicles and I'm very impressed with the brand. I've used weathertech for many years, but have always been left disappointed with them as they age and the walls curl in and let lots of junk get to the carpet.

Curious on your heel stickiness. Is this with right foot for gas and brake? If with the clutch (left foot) would you please elaborate to help me understand?
Is there any interference with the clutch pedal and the floormat?

lastly thanks for your help/input.
