I may be way way way off base on this, but it seems like replacing that entire panel for a possible rock chip seems a bit excessive.

Like, " oh shit I got a flat tire, gotta total the whole car!" kinda excessive.

I bet the chip will be fairly small when the PPF is removed, might not even be there at all.

My unsolicited advice. Touch up paint and PPF over it. Then call it a day.

At least @burn813 was kind enough to post a video of his hell and sadness. @Tall Steve doesn't even have the SD card installed for the PDR record so that he can sift through the videos to find where the little kid on the side of the road shot a BB into his Knight Rider lights area.

Solution: Install Knight Rider lights OVER the chip. @Tall Steve no more see chip, and start calling your car Kit, and only wear the leather jacket to drive.

that chip can easily be filled in and painted over by any competent body shop. there's no need to buy a new part
