Rolex is better now. There for a while Omega was eating their lunch on quality and design vs price.
But Rolex adapted bringing in ceramics, better AR coatings, more textured dials and color options.
I held a $300,000 rainbow Daytona the other day and couldn't put it down fast enough 😅
Given the direction automakers are going (though seemingly that direction has slowed), of going away from V8s, it seems like the current iteration of the 5BW isn't going to be in production too much longer.
For those of us who want to hold onto these cars, but also drive them as dailies, I...
Is it weird that I love both of these equally? The first picture I was like "man this color, dont mess with it, it's gorgeous"
Then I saw the matte and I love it. It's like two cars in one
As a new owner of a 5BW, I love this thread.

I get why they do it. They know you'll eventually come in and buy tires from them if they do. But it's still refreshing to experience.
Update I made it from Saukville Wisconsin to Birmingham AL without issue. Snow was plowed up everywhere in Wisconsin and it was 20 degrees when I picked it up but the roads were dry and clear.
I just ate up miles trying to get south where it started warming up only stopping for gas. Made it...
This is what I run in the cold on my Alfa QV. And it's a great tire. I felt like I lost about 20% steering feel and connectedness, but worth it vs wrapping it around a tree
It was pre-owned I wonder if the exhaust was aftermarket. It was also indoors in the showroom but so was the m5 I test drove right next to it and it was noticeably better than the m5
They definitely fixed it because I had a before and after their final fix. But iirc mine was after the 6th different attempt from BMW to fix those HPFPs. Mine never failed after and really ran great. But every iteration in between was a cluster for BMW.
I think the quickly went away from that...
