Reverse on my 5BW doesn’t unlock until you’re damn near stopped. I’ve found that out when trying to get into reverse when parking and still rolling forward a few mph.
Also my reverse is locked out when the car is off so that to me would confirm the thought that reverse is normally locked out...
Anyone think the car helps you cheat a bit on a heel/toe shift? If I give the throttle a good quick whack the engine seems to go to the exact rpm needed to go down a gear. I’m still practicing heel/toe and once in a while it just seems too good to be true.

Factory oil and only 5500 miles shouldn’t be in the same sentence. I’m sure I go overkill with my maintenance and only time will tell if it’s worth the effort.
Not too many miles on mine but I do wish the 6MT had adaptive cruise control. My 2021 Tacoma with a 6MT has ACC.

Not specific to these cars, but a drive cycle requires you to start from a cold start and drive long enough for the sensors to do their thing. Other cars I’ve had would take 4-5 cycles for the sensors to be ready. These were true cold starts as well after sitting overnight.
