Correct, or they will simply place a dealer order and take the car to sell. The fact is, unless you have a really good dealer and they know what they are doing, you will wait if there are constraints.

Well, at least it will only sit outside for 11 months before they send it in the mandatory enclosed delivery trailer for its one week journey. Makes perfect sense. I actually expect it would be delivered in January if it gets built on time.
