If it were me, I wouldn't go by their word. I would ask Nitto about freezing temps. Adding to the confusion, Motortrend calls them a "three season" tire here and a summer tire here.
Unless there is more than one Invo, I can't find any mention of Ivno all seasons. In fact this listing says "The Nitto Invo's silica-enhanced tread formulation is designed for warmer weather; this tire should not be used if temperatures are below 40-45 degrees F."
I am still using my Coopers...
Thanks to this thread, I have been hesitant to even attempt doing my own seasonal tire swap on my 5BW as I have done on my past cars, but just decided to go for it. I first tried the method listed here for the 4BW in this thread but found that the magnetic puck would not fit around the plastic...
Bought these before last winter but ended up not using them much as I then got another car for winter use. Tires are almost new, around 1.5k miles on them, mostly highway. Wheels are in great shape except for a small mounting mark on the inside wall of one of one rims - $3k firm. Will also throw...
Hi - saw your WTB on all season tires. I have a full set of black wheels with sensors and the Cooper Zeon RS3-G1 tires I got last year when I thought this would be an all season car for me. I ended up getting a Ford Bronco also so they saw very little use. Everything is mounted and ready to go...
Do you have a picture of them installed? I went through all 18 pages of this thread, and there seems to be conflicting reports about them fitting without a cutout.
Did you ever figure this out? Planning to order these. Had a flat on a road trip and witnessed Discount Tire use a jack in the rear with no puck right on the pinch weld. No damage that I can see other than paint scuffs surprisingly but figure this would be good to have in the car if there is a...
Had to buy an emergency rear tire when on a road trip 1000 miles from home my OEM tire failed and could not find a TPC tire on short notice. Am planning to keep it and get 3 non-TPC tires to match when the time to replace all 4 comes, but I don't drive the car all that much, so figured I would...
Mine have never been driven in the cold as I have dedicated all seasons, but I do store them in an unheated garage. But this leak just started in August so don't think that would have anything to do with it.
Interesting. I had the same separation issue with PS4S on my Lotus Evora at 12k miles. Only realized it when I went to replace them. They saw about 13 track days though.
On a road trip 600 miles from home and the rear OEM tire started leaking from the sidewall. No obvious cause. 6k on the tire, no track days or burnouts. Defect? Anyone had success with a warranty claim?
To make matters worse can't get OEM tire for days so installing a regular PS4S just to get...
Yes, I am glad to be back on summers, but they are totally passable. I don't plant to ever intentionally drive them in the snow - but if I get caught by surprise, I bought a set of Autosock to keep in the trunk just in case. I should be able to make it home with those.
