Call your service dealer for a price. The fronts are incredibly expensive if you replace the rotors.

If you are saying the dealership can put in a request to deny service from all other dealers, then that should be illegal. I don't support the shady guy's dishonesty, but this is a wrong to deny service. Unless of course they are denying service on the brakes.

Why do people need to move their seat back to get out? I have mine set to my driving position and I can comfortably exit and enter the car. I am certainly not a thin person.

If the transmission was underfilled, I would ask for a new transmission or a 100k warranty extension on the transmission which I doubt they will do.

It shouldn't, but it is a variable and should be mentioned to your dealer.

Don't change the fluid until you have taken it in to the dealer. Using a non recommended fluid may void your warranty.

If you have any issues with the transmission, won't GM refuse to repair it at their cost because of a different fluid? Same applies to the differential.

How do we know that it's the failure causing the shavings and not just incompetence in regards to cleaning the engine during the manufacturing process? I agree it is more likely that the failure is causing the shavings.
