Mine is exactly the same as described, rough at idle and when giving it gas in neutral initially. As soon as get into the RPM range, smooth as pie. Good to know its normal characteristic as I was wondering about it.

Just polling the forum a bit to see what everyones experiences have been with Oil Consumption especially during first 500 to 1,500 miles. I hit 500 miles today and I do see a little bit of Oil Consumption according to the dip stick...... maybe quarter of a quart

Good feedback, appreciate the diverse views on this. 1500 miles go above 4K rpm seems absurd.

I have read the owners manual like everyone else, it clearly says don't go over 4K RPM for first 1500 miles, but what is confusing is that the RPM gauge changes after 500 miles leading one to believe that its now okay to exercise the full RPM range. What are everyone's experiences with this ...

Just got it last week and getting familiar with all of the drive modes. Can someone tell me how do you know what Drive Mode your in other than using the selector on the console ? If you put it in Sport or Track or Touring, is there an indicator anywhere on the dash that show that ? Thanks...

Dont accept anything less than 4 new wheels, escalate it to the owner of the dealership.

Don't accept anything other than New Wheels, if you have to call the owner of the dealership then go that route to hold them accountable. My Mercedes dealer did the same thing to my c63AMG a few years back and I made them put on new wheels.
